Our Story
High Touch Consulting & Development was founded on November 13, 2015, with a simple goal: bring the discipline of design-build project management to Bay Area residential remodeling. After more than a decade in the field, that's still what we do — every day, on every project.
Our work spans the San Francisco Peninsula and Silicon Valley, from gut-renovations of San Francisco Victorians to ground-up ADUs in Palo Alto, full backyard transformations in Saratoga, and whole-home remodels in San Jose. Each project gets the same standard: written fixed-scope pricing, one project manager, weekly updates, and a clean job site.

Our Approach
Most homeowners come to us after a bad experience — or after enough horror stories from friends to know they want it done differently. We've built our process around the things that go wrong on remodels:
- Vague pricing. Every proposal is line-item itemized. You know what each piece costs before signing.
- Disappearing PMs. One dedicated project manager from kickoff to final inspection. They know your project.
- Permit surprises. We handle every permit and every inspection. No mid-project "you need to pull a permit" conversations.
- Schedule slippage. Written weekly progress updates with the actual schedule, not optimistic guesses.
- Hidden change orders. Changes are written, priced, and approved in writing before any work happens.
